W H E R E I T A L L B E G A N

25th March 2023: Us celebrating one full year of travelling.

25th March 2024: Two years later, and still loving it!!

PART 6... of our recent trip to Natal...
Some laughs and special quality time with my delightful Gran; coffees with Mom and Megs; and last, quick goodbyes with friends, before heading back to the Eastern Cape; and finally ending off with a stop off at Gareip Dam, when it was a lot warmer, thankfully. Very grateful for such a lovely visit!

A lovely stay with family at Mbona Private Nature Reserve; getting to work with a beautiful view; walking through gorgeous indigenous forests of the Karkloof Hills and along the myriads of dams in the valley; together with some really great birding (thanks to Dale's special Gran who planted some stunning aloes so many years ago!)...

Remembering back to our special little getaway at Haga with Mom over my birthday!

Haven't posted for a while, so just had to share some more time spent at this little pocket of paradise along the Wild Coast.

I also happened to catch my first shark! :-) He was such a beauty- a Spotted Gully Shark.

Day 3 highlights from our gorgeous trip to Haga Haga. Beginning with a scrumptious homemade brunch with a spectacular view, exploring the natural beauty of the Haga Haga Mouth, following footprints on the sandy beach, and watching dolphins from the Haga Haga hotel. I have a feeling we'll be back!

Happy One Year Anniversary to us on our epic adventure!! What exactly are we doing, you may ask? 🤣 Well, we're doing things a little differently - living a mobile life in our comfy caravan, while we work remotely and travel and explore South Africa fulltime. Its had its downs or unique challenges, just as life usually does these days, but it's had way more ups and beautiful, unforgettable moments to treasure for a lifetime. We wouldn't change a thing! When will we stop, you may wonder? We have no... idea! So let the candles keep coming and may the adventure keep going....🤩

I'm starting up a travel blog soon!! So keep an eye on this space to follow us on our journey 😉 we'd love you to join us!

Our little adventure at Kei Mouth was so magical ✨️ On the sunny days we enjoyed fishing in the mouth and explored the beaches and beautiful rock pools along the coast. One big highlight was watching the gorgeous sunset over the beautiful Morgan Bay cliffs. Definitely add this area to your bucketlist!!
